Twin Tower
The mixed use project with a site area of 30,000 m2 and approximately 200,000 m2 construction area features two towers which are located at opposite ends of the site with the shopping mall between and plazas along the street. The site has primary access and visibility from the main boulevard (Turan Güneş Bulvarı) running north of the site. The surrounding streets are used for separating access to the different building types. Pedestrians arrive to the site at two main plazas facing the boulevard. Separate entries occur on the south side of the retail and to each of the towers. The retail experience is enhanced via connected plazas. The plazas are uniquely located to announce the entry spaces into the shopping experience. Each of the plaza spaces provides landscape art and places to gather. In addition, rooftop spaces are designed for accessibility and maximize visibility to the surrounding city and mountains. The office tower is located at the south edge of the site utilizing the corner of the site as a plaza and drop-off, whereas the residential tower is located adjacent to the neighborhood back from the retail street and is accessed from the south east corner plaza through terraced courtyards. DerinYesil has been working with concept design team, Perkins + Will Washington DC office on this project.
