The new Erbil Emergency Hospital project was designed and built for Iraq Ministry of Health and was sponsored by USAID (United States Agency for International Development) as a design – built project. The project comprises 9 surgical suits, 2 inpatient blocks with 165 beds capacity and a comprehensive outpatient facility. The hospital was completed and operational in late 2009.
