The new headquarter building for ALMALY Group of Companies involves the redesign of an existing office and showroom building in the heart of downtown Almaty. The exterior skin of the existing structure has been reconfigured to accentuate its prominent position in the city with folding zinc panel roof structure and carefully orchestrated openings/ cuts along this shell. Along the fully glazed façades, vertical glass fins with frit pattern add further depth to the façade and provide additional solar protection. The project also involves the renovation of 3,200 m2 of interior space with a effective and state-of-the-art working environment
